A couple of years after Tyrannosaur, Sam Arthur self-published a second book, this time a collection of his poems, and I was asked back to design the cover again.
Sam wanted a very different style this time: bold and colourful, reminiscent of a warning road sign, playing on the theme of the poem which gives the book its title - an increasingly surreal string of advice on things you shouldn't do involving the eponymous waterfowl. This was one of the main reasons why I put down my usual pencil and created this particular piece entirely in the vector-graphics app Inkscape.
